The watch cap is a classic hat design and one of the warmest hats you can wear, due to the double-thick brim that encircles the head. And it looks great on everybody!

I’ve designed this watch cap in what I like to call the Eccentric Rib, which is an easy rib, but a little eccentric in how it’s constructed. It’s an easy knit if you can knit in the round. You can knit the hat with a circular needle and switch to double pointed needles when you’ve decreased so many stitches for the crown that you can no longer knit comfortably with a circular needle --OR-- just knit the entire hat with double pointed needles. The choice is up to you!

As with all my designs, I want you to be happy, have fun and end up with a great design, so please contact me at the Email address listed on the pattern if you have any questions.

Thank you!
