The Unpolished Top.
This is a pattern for the top only, the skirt is in a different pattern.

Dare I say it? Inspired by my inferiority complex I created what might be the most universally flattering pattern of my career. Check the hashtag #unpolishedset on instagram to see others wearing this garment! The top is reversible, and can be worn with a high neck and scoop back, or scoop neck and high back. It has a cropped, straight fit with side splits.

This pattern is for intermediate crocheters and up.

Viking Bambino, 50% cotton/50% bamboo, 50g/176meters.
Fingering/4-ply/yarn weight 1.
2 strands held together.

The top is crocheted with 2 strands held together. Yarn can be subsituted for any 2 strands of fingering or any 1 strand of worsted weight yarn. If substituting yarn, make sure that your gauge is still light, airy and easily pliable.

Hook: 3,5mm (or hook needed to meet gauge)

Gauge for 10x10cm/4x4in: 17 sts by 12 rows in half double crochet in the third loop at the front
Always make a gauge swatch and remember to block it!
