Crochet these beautiful Upcycled Sunflowers to decorate your home, give as a gift or decorate for a party! There are so many options for use---garlands, candle holders, ornaments and photo frames, just to name a few. They would be perfect as candle holders on a fall holiday table!

(I don’t recommend using real flame candles since they might cause a fire.)

This pattern is easy with only 4 rounds. The only stitches you need to know are chain, slip stitch, single crochet, half double crochet and double crochet. You will crochet around a 1.75” plastic ring. (I got mine from gallon milk jugs) The sunflowers are then tied together using packaging twine.

The pattern is full of tutorial photos to help you understand the written instructions and a link to the tutorial for crocheting around a plastic ring.

You can customize your garland to whatever length you would like and these sunflowers use very little yarn. Nine sunflowers used about a 1/4th of a skein of Gold and barely an ounce of Coffee. So it’s also a great stash buster!
