One Christmas, at the last
minute, I decided to make
fingerless gloves for some friends
and a cousin overseas. Not
finding a pattern that called to
me, I decided to create my own
pattern. These gloves can easily
be a stash buster, requiring
between 50-100g of fingeringweight
sock yarn. This design
may be made in plain Ribbing,
or with the Mini-Cables.

I have made 3 pairs with the same yarn, but different colors. The first two pairs used under 50g, but for the third pair, I needed an extra 10 grams--different yardage in that color. These gloves are meant to have a snug fit.

Since some lovely variegated colors obscure the cable
pattern, the pattern includes the option for a plain, ribbing-only version.

This pattern has been test knit.
