  1. I made this using Hobby Lobby’s #4 worsted weight yarn, “I Love This Yarn” in pink red and white. Their yarn is so super soft and easy to work with. You can use any worsted weight yarn of your choosing, but just note the overall size may vary slightly.

  2. I used 15mm black safety eyes. You could opt to use smaller-sized eyes or to make crochet eyes.

  3. I completed 2 rounds for my cheeks. But, I think mine may have looked better with just one round or less stitches in the second round.

  4. I surface slip stitch crocheted the red heart outline, the eyebrows and lopsided-grin. However, you could embroider each of these or you could make chain stitches and then attach.

  5. I added a pocket for goodies on the back panel’s heart. So, get creative with what you fill the pocket up with….

  6. As an option, this would make a great Tooth Fairy pillow to use throughout the month of February. Great place for tooth to stay secure and for the Tooth Fairy to leave a surprise for the recipient. Change up the color of the pillow and it could be a Tooth Fairy pillow year-round.

  7. Only making the front side - you would have a super cute Applique!!!

  8. Quick, easy, fun and functional project to complete in less than 1 evening. I completed mine in the midst of horrible allergies

I hope you all will enjoy this. Feel free to message and/or comment any questions…Happy Valentine’s Day to all of my fellow crafters!!!
