Valognes Vest
This vest is started from the top back, worked down to the armpits and then right and left shoulders are added by picking up stitches from the top. The neckline is shaped to be rounded and then the two front sides are joined together and worked flat to the armpit, before front and back pieces are joined in the round and the body is worked in the round to the end. The neckline is finished by an I-cord edge.
The intended bust ease is 2-5 cm /1-2 inches. No waist shaping is included in the description, but can easily be added if desired.
Yarn selection:
You will need two yarns, one (MC) sport weight and one (CC) sock weight. The CC is only used for the collar and bottom of body.
Yardage percentages:
MC: 99%
CC: 1%
Needles and other notions:
You need circular 3.5 mm/ US4 needles of various lengths.
Markers for front and back eyelet sections and BOR.
