This is a cozy colorwork hat for those cold autumn and winter days with a folded brim and a fun colorwork crown. It is named Valtavaara after a Fjell in Kuusamo, Finland.

Worked bottom up in Finnsheep yarn.

One size, 25 cm wide and 20 cm long with brim folded double.

2 mm (0 US) and 2.5 mm (1 US ) circular needles, 40 cm or 80 cm long(if you use magic loop) or/and DPNs

Suoma Single, 100% Finnsheep Wool, fingering weight, 50 g/ 205 m/224 yards
1 skein of Kupari (used approx. 120 m)
1 skein of Valko (used approx. 20m)

Alternative yarn options: any fingering yarn approximately 120 m for Main color and approximately 20 m for Contrast color. Please note, that do to some long floats, a “sticky” yarn is a preferable option.
