Needles: 3.25 mm / US 3 AND 3.75 mm / US 5 knitting needles suitable for working small circumferences in the round.
Always use a needle size that will result in the correct gauge after blocking.

Notions: 5 stitch markers, scrap yarn

Notes: Mittens with a simple knit and purl textured pattern, worked in the round from cuff to fingertips. The twisted rib cuff is worked on smaller needles before changing to larger needles for the gusset thumb that is left on hold while you finish the hand. Shaped at the top and finished off by grafting live stitches together using Kitchener stitch before working the thumb.
