About

Vara Mohair Tee is a refined everyday tee defined by subtle vertical lines and a soft, fluffy mohair texture. Perfect for cooler summer days and evenings, effortlessly taking you from everyday wear to more dressed-up occasions.

Vara Mohair Tee is worked top down. First, the upper section of the back is worked flat while increases are made to shape the shoulders. The shoulder sections are then worked from stitches picked up along the slope of the back piece. The front is worked flat and is then joined with the back under the armholes. The body is then worked in the round on circular needles. Stitches are picked up along the armhole openings for the sleeves, which are then worked in the round. Finally, stitches are picked up for the neckline, which is also worked in the round.

Size Guide

The sizes 1 (2) 3 (4) 5 (6) are designed to fit a bust circumference of approx. 80–85 (85–88) 88–95 (95–100) 100–110 (110–120) cm / 31½–33½ (33½–34¾) 34¾–37½ (37½–39¼) 39¼–43¼ (43¼–47¼) in.

Vara Mohair Tee is designed with approx. 20–25 cm / 8–10 in of positive ease. For sizes 4 and 5, the amount of positive ease decreases slightly with increasing bust circumference.

For example, if your bust circumference is 89 cm (35 in), adding 20–25 cm (8–10 in) of positive ease gives a total circumference of 109–114 cm (43–45 in). In this case, you should choose size 3, which has a bust circumference of 113 cm (44½ in).

The model is wearing size 2.

For best results, I recommend using the suggested yarn, as different silk mohair yarns may result in less defined vertical lines.
