This cowl was designed to play with color, and showcase the handspun that I’ve been making with my new drop spindle. The majority of this pattern is knit in the round, splitting at the bottom rib and knit flat to create a nice base for it to rest across the collarbone.

The mosaic colorwork technique is repetitive and easy to customize for the length of the cowl. There’s no stranded colorwork here, just slipped stitches. The repeats are simple and easy to follow for someone new to mosaic knitting. It makes for a quick project and uses less than a full skein of each color. Leftover yarn can be used for the Venture Hat pattern, coming soon!

Yarn Requirements:
Main Color - 1 skein (~200yds)
Contrast Color - 1 skein (~200yds)
