I absolutely love vintage pieces, and of course, I absolutely adore crochet. I was inspired to make this vintage crochet collar one day when I was looking for a way to spice up an outfit to make it more my style.

This vintage crochet collar is quick, simple and easy to make. It will give any outfit an awesome retro look and feel. It can be made in any yarn and I will soon be making a different version of this collar using some really upscale yarn, but it also looks great using an inexpensive acrylic yarn, preferably one that has a bit of sheen. Caron’s Simply Soft is a great choice but any similar weight will work as well.
