Vintage Gate socks is a toe up pattern using fingering weight yarn with an afterthought heel.

The design is a beautiful lace panel with some Barbara’s Bobbles in the front of the leg section.

This sock pattern uses the Magic Loop Method, which means that you’ll be using a long circular needle. Your stitches will be divided evenly onto the N1 which will be the front of the sock and N2 which will be the back of the sock. However you can easily adapt the pattern for DPNs needles by dividing stitches from N1 onto two needles and N2 to another two needles. I knitted the cuff and foot of the sock in the picture on a 9 inch circular needle, so choose the method you prefer.

The pattern has 4 foot circumferences sizes with specific cast on stitches, but you can easily adjust it to your size.
