Vivi Wool Sweater

Elegantly constructed sweater with deep diagonal stripes which meet the transverse stripes on the sleeves in a beautiful edge. Vivi has a nice little roll collar and long sleeves and a short and dressy cut.

Vivi is worked in garter stitch back and forth without side seams. Stitches for sleeves are picked up along the armhole of the sweater.

Recommended needles two circular ndls 3mm / US 2.5, length 80 cm / 32 inches.
Circular ndl 2½ mm / 1.5 mm, length 40 cm / 16 inches for neckband.

Gauge 26 sts and 52 rows in garter stitch on 3mm / US 2.5 needle = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 inches

Procedure
Garment is worked back and forth in garter st, from neck and down. No side seams. Sts for the sleeves are picked up along the armholes. Only seam along inside of sleeves.
