Proud to present to you Si Sjo’s Wababla Baby Blanket!

This baby blanket design is inspired by vintage Scandinavian fabrics in my mind. It is knitted with doubleheld fingerling weight natural yarns.
A mix of traditional Irish tweedyarn and the softest babyalpaca.
I used Knoll’s Soft Donegal Tweed and BC Garn’s Baby Alpaca,
ca. 250 g tweed and 150 g of the baby alpaca

The colours blend beautifully in the used wafflestitch and give this blanket its retro ’60s radiance.

A perfect knitting project to provide your baby room with a unique handmade blanket.
It is soft, breathable, durable and comfortingly warm.
And what a gift it might be for a friend or family baby shower to welcome a newborn little one!

Wababla Blanket pattern includes two different designs: one striped version and a colour block version.
The size is 75 x 100 cm

You’ll need Needlesize 3 and 3,5 eu size.

The edges of the blanket have an Icord finish.

The pattern is a booklet with both, text and images. If you want to save and ink, you can print only the uneven pages. You won’t need the images (though they’re very inspiring, of course) to knit.
