Some knitters are finding a big discrepancy between the yardage from Berroco Sundae and that of other yarns. I will knit again in new yarn and update the pattern, but until then estimate up to 1300 yards.

Also, take into account that the stitch is VERY stretchy in all directions, so it will likely grow once it’s off the needles

This squishy blanket makes a perfect gift… or a treat for yourself!

The pattern is simple, using a 4-row repeat stitch and is finished with i-cord, which gives it substance but it has enough stretch to move with the airy stitch, and it provides a non-obtrusive frame for the textured pattern.

The stitch might take a little bit of getting used to, but it is less complicated than it looks.

Being a blanket, gauge is not crucial, there are notes on the pattern on how to measure it, but don’t stress about it, just let your sample relax on a flat surface and take a rough measurement.
