I heard a song on the radio some time ago, and I remember the lyrics:
“Walking on the waves,
Walking just like Saint Peter
Takes a little faith
To make it through the storms that beat ya”

At the time we were facing some challenges in our family and this song became a bit of an earworm. (It’s called Walking on Waves by Brightline)

I wanted to create something that reminded me of waves and so this simple but effective lace pattern was born.
