Welcome a new season with a sunny pair of fingerless mitts warm enough to fend off the early spring chill.

These coordinating mitts, inspired by the brightly-colored song birds, utilize slipped stitches to create a crisscross pattern around the hands, while a decorative rick rack rib keeps cuffs snug.

Requires approximately 200 yards each of 2 contrasting shades fingering weight yarn. Worked in the round on US sz 2 DPNs.
