If you love knitting cables, you’ll enjoy this shawl made using worsted weight yarn, guaranteeing that you’ll be warm. The shawl incorporates a textured twist stitch with an ornate cable that shows itself beautifully in this shawl. The pockets insure that the shawl will stay put on your shoulders.

Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a basic knowledge of cable knitting).

The cable focal stitch is both charted and written out line by line. There is a diagram contained within the pattern to assist you with pocket placement, and there are also instructions for an optional crocheted border.

The sample was expertly pattern tested by Liz Gallay who can be reached at: 4gallays@gmail.com

The yarn used in the sample is Shepherd Worsted by Lorna’s Laces, in colorway, Campbell.
