The warmer is worked in a K2, P2 rib, starting from the top. After completing the neck section, the work is divided into front and back. First, stitches are picked up using the Turkish cast-on method on the left shoulder. Then, working across the back, the left shoulder is formed. The front is set aside for later, while German short rows are worked on the back to shape the yoke. Next, the back panel is completed and finished with an Italian bind-off. The work then continues with the left shoulder of the front panel. Short rows are used to shape the left shoulder. The yarn is cut, and the right shoulder of the front panel is worked. Using short rows, the right front of the warmer is shaped. The two front panels are then joined, and the piece is worked flat to complete the front panel.

Finally, the stitches are bound off using the Italian bind-off, and the warmer is finished.
