We’ve compiled a few knitting field comforts that were knit for members of the military such as socks, plain balaclava helmet, mittens and a stunning cabled vest from these resources that were often knit by Canadian volunteers in support of the war effort. We have rewritten the patterns, making the knitted articles compatible with modern fibres.

100% of the proceeds of the sale of this pattern booklet will be donated to the Juno Beach Centre Association.

Sizes can be adjusted for the socks and mittens. Sizes for balaclava are medium & large. Sample shown shown for the vest is size 40 but can be adjusted.

VEST: Front and back are completed the same. Knit flat and seamed together.
