This pattern reminds me of spring in the mountains, when the snow is melting and the waterfalls are at their fullest. These socks are knit cuff-down, with color-work only on the leg of the sock.

This pattern is written to knit the sock cuff-down. Begin with the ribbing, follow the chart for the leg, knit the heel and foot, and then decrease for the toe. This pattern includes a short-row heel, but feel free to use any desired heel pattern.
