Wave Hello Blanket
This gorgeous textured blanket featuring fabulous bobbles is a very versatile blanket for size and colours. You can make any size you like from baby blanket to double bed. Made using DK yarn it is not too thick. You can substitute the DK yarn for Aran/Worsted weight yarn for a lovely winter warmer. You’ll use an 8-row pattern repeat meaning you don’t have to count over and over. TIP:
Please read the notes section of this pattern, they hold some valuable information.
Gauge - This is not important as it is a blanket. However, if you did want to
check it the using DK is : 17 DC = 10cm and 1 whole
pattern repeat (8 rows) is 8cm high
You may want to make a Swatch of you are using Aran/worsted weight to work out how big you want it to be.
Tools:
You will need the following:
• If using DK: 4.5mm hook (larger hook
to make it more drapey)
• 5.5mm hook for the border
• If using Aran, 6mm hook
• Scissors
• Darning Needle
• Stitch Markers
