If you know how to knit, how to purl, how to slip a stith and if you can knit stripes, there is nothing in the world that could possibly witheld you from being able to knit this gorgeous new Si Sjo sweater…

The colourwork in the yoke of Waves & Wings sweater is knitted in, so called, mosaic technique.
The different coloured strands of yarn are knitted one after another, instead of holding and knitting both yarns at the same time in one row!
that makes it easy to do for every knitter and less chance of too much tension in the colourwork ( and with the knitter ;-) )
And watch the stunning results!

Waves & Wings sweater is knitted topdown.

In the pattern you can find the description for three versions.
The first, with a colourful yoke, is knitted of double held laceweight yarn. I made a yarn suggestion but in fact, you can use any lace yarn as long as it has 300-400 mtrs on 50 gram.
The second one is knitted with a single thread of soft merino tweed yarn (1ply), and has this colourful yoke as well!
note that this yarn comes in 54 colours! What a joy to pick yours!

The third one is also knitted of the Soft Donegal Tweed (1ply), but in one uni colour. It is more modest but undoubtedly very sophisticated, with a great focus on the texture of the different stitches in the yoke!

note: the booklet contains a lot of images. For environmental reasons ( saving ink and paper) I recommend to print just the uneven pages.
