The Waves Tee is a classic stockinette t-shirt with a boxy look, featuring 1x1 ribbing hems and collar designed to stand out. It has a fairly classic fit with a 10 cm (4”) positive ease at the bust and regular armhole depth. The body length can be customized from regular to your preferred length.
This tee is perfect for the warmer season, while it can be worn with a cardigan in the colder months. The one shown in the pattern was made in linen, but it can be made in wool or any other material as well.

Techniques:
knitting flat, knitting in the round, german short rows, increasing, backwards loop cast-on, picking up stitches, 1x1 ribbing, tubular bind off or preferred bind off technique.

Material:

Circular knitting needles:
-3 mm (US 2.5) or the required needles to obtain gauge - for main project;
-2.5 mm (US 1.5) or half size smaller than main needles - for hems;
-2 mm (US 0), or 1 size smaller than main needles - for collar.

Cable:
-for body: 60cm (24”) for XXS, 80cm (32”) for XS-S-M, 100cm (40”) -for L-XL-2X, 120cm (48”) for 3X-4X-5X.
-for collar and sleeves: 40cm (16”).

Yarn:
-Size & Weight: Size 2 - Sport.
-Yarn used and yarn’s yardage: ‘Hand-dyed LinenNaturals’ by Eco-stitch (100% linen - 100g = 245m/268y) in colorway ‘Light Denim’ (sample in size XS).
-Suggested yarn: Ecostitch sport linen yarn or any yarn in the same weight.

Yardage per size (approx. for a regular body length):
-grams: 280, 300 (324, 344, 385, 423) (469, 514, 557, 612) g.
