This beautiful book sleeve/cover is perfect for beginners as it uses all the basic crochet stitches and creates a fun wavy pattern including a “peekaboo” spine so you can see what book you have in the sleeve at all times!

This pattern is easily customizable to fit whatever size book you are making it for. Mine ended up being 50 (multiples of 8 +2) stitches across and 17 rows tall.

You can use any weight of yarn and it’s recommended hook size, but you may get fewer “waves” per row.
