WE FOUND LOVE is a soft, fluffy mohair sweater worked seamlessly from the top down, featuring an easy yet eye-catching broken rib texture. The design has dropped shoulders, a relaxed fit, and clean, understated edgings that give the simple textured fabric a refined finish.

Instead of traditional ribbing at the neckline and cuffs, these edges are worked in stockinette stitch and then folded double for a polished, elegant look. Decreases are worked at the hem to gently draw in the otherwise relaxed sweater before the ribbing.

The sweater begins with the back, worked flat down to the underarm. Stitches are then picked up from the back’s cast-on edge for the fronts, which are worked one at a time. The neckline is shaped with increases, after which the fronts are joined.

Once the front and back pieces are long enough, they are joined and the body is worked in the round to the hem. Ribbing is worked at the hem. Stitches are then picked up for the sleeves, which are worked in the round and finished with folded stockinette edging.

Finally, stitches are picked up for the neckline and worked with the same folded stockinette edging used on the sleeves.
