This cowl was designed in memory of Pat Hoehnen for an event that she and her family held yearly at Cream City Yarn, in Brookfield, Wisconsin. As a prolific knitter, Pat was a familiar friendly face in the store since its beginning in 2011.

Pat Hoehnen began knitting socks for WWII soldiers as a young girl. Knitting became a huge part of her life. Pat inspired not only her daughters to knit, but her granddaughter ‘s and even her great granddaughter to share in love of her craft. Pat’s love for knitting was only second to her love for her family.

The design features an intertwined heart cable representing the generations of love in Pat’s wonderful family.
