Weave Away
Weave Away is inspired by those bright, beautiful woven baskets you see in markets and bazaars all around the world. This design brings that same charm into crochet, with fun textures and bold colours that play off each other just like real weaving. Weave Away uses the mosaic overlay technique.
The pictured throw, including the double border, measures 105cm(W) x 170cm(L). The pattern has a 30 stitch repeat so the width of your project can be easily adapted.
I used Drops, Lima, with 4mm hook for the body of the blanket using Off White and Dark Grey Mix, with Red and Goldenrod for the pops of colour.
For the border I used a combination of Red, Dark Grey Mix and Goldenrod with a 3.5mm hook.
