This impressive scarf looks impossibly woven and complicated, but is actually very quick and easy to knit. It is mostly garter stitch, adaptable to most yarns or needle sizes and reversible.

One simple step at the end of the scarf creates the MAGIC of this scarf. This is FAST and FUN to knit!

Knit it to the length of your choice. Join the ends to create a beautiful infinity scarf if you want to.

I like making this scarf with fibers that are firm, like cottons and linen, however I have seen this made with DK wool and that looked great, too. Go ahead and try your favorite yarns (even thicker ones) and needles and let me know how they work out!

Finished scarf, from one skein of Noro Silk Garden Sock yarn, is 6.5” X 92”. This length, with ends joined, makes an infinity scarf that can wrap around the neck three times. You can make the scarf any length you want, for example, you could make two 45” scarves or a 60” scarf and 30” cowl from one skein, or three 60” scarves from two skeins.
