Weft Socks
Currently in Test Knitting
Weft Socks are designed for your treasured skeins, bold colourways, or that special yarn waiting to become something unforgettable. A flowing mock cable/braided motif travels across the sock, creating striking horizontal stitches that break up pooling and highlight every pop of colour in variegated yarns. And looks beautiful in solids, tonals, and speckles!
Despite the intricate look, the texture is surprisingly approachable: the signature stitch is created by dipping your needle a few rows below and pulling the working yarn through.
The pattern includes both top-down and toe-up constructions, detailed photo and video tutorials, making the techniques accessible and enjoyable for adventurous beginners and experienced sock knitters alike.
I love a good sock pattern for all yarns, and all abilities*
