My inspiration for this pattern came from the beautifully chosen colors of the Yowza Minis. I decided to use six colors for a large, feminine wrap. The pattern has no purl stitches and (almost) nothing to count, making it perfect for beginners and newbies.

The shawl is worked in stripes, ordered from light to dark, with the last stripe combining multiple colors. The Wellig pattern is easy to memorize after the first repeat, and it is so much fun to knit and to wear. If you want an even larger shawl, feel free to add more colors.

Yarn
Miss Babs Yowza Minis 100% Superwash Merino wool; 200 yd/2.8 oz (182m/80g) skeins
6 skeins shown in Colors 1-6: Suspense, Bruin, Dark Parchment, Mahogany, Muslin, and Dark Adobe

Or approximately 1200 yards/1100 meters of DK weight yarn in 6 different colors from light to dark.
