I love to knit with fingering weight yarn and have lots of it in my stash in an array of beautiful colours. However, I had a desire to knit something with a bit of weight to it, so I decided to hold two strands of fingering together to create this colourful sweater. You can of course do the same, or you could simply use a worsted weight yarn which would work equally well.

This sweater is knitted from the top down. After a twisted rib collar a textured yoke is then worked in Crossed Stocking Stitch by knitting through the back loop on every other round. Raglan increases are then used to improve the fit before separating for the sleeves. The chart is then worked repeatedly for the body before changing to a contrasting colour for a twisted rib finish. The sleeves are then picked up and knitted in the same chart as the body and finished with a matching twisted rib.
