This little blanket has a fun design and an encouraging quote: “stay wild and free”.

You will receive 4 files:

  • line-by-line instructions for interlocking crochet and a one-page chart (no X’s) 165 x 203
  • line-by-line instructions for overlay mosaic crochet and a one-page chart (no X’s) 165 x 203
  • left-handed bundle with interlocking and mosaic crochet patterns
  • X-marked chart for mosaic crochet

Both types of crochet work with one color at a time in alternating rows to create the design.

Interlocking crochet uses only chain spaces and double crochets to create a mesh; the “wrong” side is sometimes as pretty as the front.

Mosaic crochet uses single crochet and double crochet stitches. The double crochet stitches cover some of the other color’s single crochet stitches to create the design. My patterns instruct you to cut your yarn at the end of each row. The back is striped but often gives a faint impression of the pattern on the front (sort of like illusion knitting). See an example here.

I have YouTube tutorials available for both crochet methods! Follow this link to get to my YouTube channel and find my other social links: https://ashleeslint.com/link-in-bio.
