Wild Ivy is a seamless, topdown DK weight sweater with a lace panel winding up the front of the bodice and a really flattering fit.

At the center of the design is the neckline. The sweater begins flat so you can shape the opening before joining in the round, and we include guidance for finishing it more open or more closed depending on your style.

Design Details

Wild Ivy features a vertical lace panel on the front while the back remains stockinette. Waist shaping is optional, and both body and sleeve length are easy to adjust as you knit.

The neckline is finished after the body and sleeves are complete so you can fine tune the depth and final look.

Construction Overview

Wild Ivy is a DK raglan sweater worked seamlessly from the top down.

We begin working flat to form the neckline and shoulders. After joining in the round, the sweater continues to the underarm.

Sleeves are separated and held while the body is worked to your preferred length and finished with ribbing. Sleeve stitches are then picked up and worked in the round to any length you like.

The lace panel is worked along the front body while the back remains stockinette.

Fiber: 100% superwash merino
Yardage: 231 yards (211 m) per 100 g skein

Any DK weight yarn with good stitch definition will work well for this design.

Sizing & Fit

Wild Ivy is designed for -4” to +2” of ease at the bust.

To choose your size:

1. Measure your full bust
2. Decide how fitted you would like the sweater
3. Choose the finished bust measurement that matches

Example: if your full bust is 38”, knit:
• 36” for a closer fit
• 40” for a more relaxed fit
