Lite Bright is here to make your stash dreams come true. Think of it as your knitting playground: colorful, flexible, and full of possibilities.
This sweater celebrates creative color. Pull in speckles, solids, leftovers, or minis and blend them into a fade that feels completely your own. The DK gauge lands right in that everyday sweater zone and both short and long sleeve options let you decide how you want to wear it. The short sleeve version is especially fun for showing off your colorwork year around.
This is your sweater, your stash, your style. The kind of project where you keep telling yourself “just one more round.”
Take Control of Your Fade
Lite Bright includes our fade table to help you plan your gradient. Choose how many colors you want to use and the formula shows exactly how to space them for smooth transitions.
It also includes guidance for keeping the fade consistent across the body and sleeves so everything flows together visually. Video tutorials walk you through the process step by step.
Design Details
Lite Bright centers on easy allover stranded colorwork to blend your scraps.
A scoop neckline and folded ribbed collar can be adjusted to your preferred depth during finishing. The silhouette is relaxed and easy to layer or wear on its own.
Construction Overview
Lite Bright is knit seamlessly from the top down.
You begin with a shaped scoop neckline and compound raglan yoke. After the yoke is complete, the body and sleeves are separated and worked in the round. Both short and long sleeve options are included. The sweater finishes with 1x1 ribbing at the cuffs and hem and a folded ribbed collar.
Yarn Notes
Sample knit in Spun Right Round Squish DK. The merino base keeps the fabric soft and the fun speckles helps the colorwork blend.
Lite Bright works beautifully with DK yarns or fingering held double and especially shines when mixing yarns from your stash.
