Maybe it’s time to tame the monster inside of this wild, wild, world we live in – Wild Wild World by Set It Off.

These gloves were inspired after watching the music video for the song Wild Wild World by the band Set It Off (it’s a great song, you should really check it out!). The song is pretty much about world unity and peace. These gloves, like the song, puts the world in your hands, and remind you that you can make a change, no matter how small, to make the world a better place!

These gloves are knit in the round with a stripe of contrasting colour, which is actually the first few rows of the colour chart, and then the rest of the colour work is completed using duplicate stitch once the rest of the glove is knit. You could try using stranded colour work here, but I couldn’t get it to successfully work without wanting to destroy something. Hence, I decided to keep this knit as peaceful as possible, and suggest using duplicate stitch.

I used a multi-coloured yarn and black solid yarn for my version, but this would look equally as good in traditional earth colours, or any strongly contrasting colour combo.
