With open lace, customizable shaping, and a touch of fringe, Wild Wind brings easygoing summer style to your needles. Knit flat from the top down in two pieces and seamed along the sides and shoulders, this tee is light, airy, and made for movement.

Go cropped or full length, fringe or no fringe, this is an approachable, stash-friendly knit that’s easy to make your own.

Our sample was knit in Miss La Motte Merino Singles, a luxurious single-ply fingering weight yarn with a subtle halo and beautiful stitch definition. The light hand and fluid drape make it a perfect match for warm-weather lace.

Construction Overview

Wild Wind is worked flat in two identical top-down panels (front and back), then seamed along the sides and shoulders. The neckline is shaped as you go and finished with an i-cord. Optional fringe is added at the hem.

Top-down construction makes it easy to adjust the length. Choose cropped or full length, whatever suits your summer style.

Why You’ll Love It

  • Light and breathable: Lace paneling + fingering-weight yarn = summer comfort
  • Made to customize: Choose your hem length and add fringe if you’d like
  • Laid-back construction: Worked flat with minimal shaping
