Available in Sizes 30”-70” , recommended 2”-8” positive ease

A note on ease: We recommend that sizes 28”-40” knit with more ease (4”-8” or more!) sizes 42”-52” a bit less ease (2”-6”) and sizes 54”-70” with (4”-6”) positive ease.

Please take a look at the project pages from our (50!) awesome testers to get an idea of how different amounts of ease looks to pick your ideal size!

A few fast facts about the Scotch Broom Crop:

1.) There’s only a tiny bit of seaming involved, across the top of the shoulders, which allows the knitter to easily make the neckline as wide as desired.

2.) The stitch pattern is 100% knitted! We modified a crochet stitch to be a knit one instead, it’s called Broomstick Lace! The only tools you’ll need are your knitting needles!

3.) Minimal Purling is required

4.) As always, the pattern will include video tutorials for all special stitches and techniques used in the design so it’s fun for everyone, from beginner to advanced knitters!
