Wild Winter Shawl
WILD WINTER SHAWL PATTERN
Inspired by the lovely Wild Wool by Erika Knight, the Wild Winter Shawl design is an asymmetric triangle with a curved neckline, crossed crochet stitches forming a detail on the straight edge, worked wider to produce a visual textural detail on the bottom, wider edge.
The design comes in one size using 2 Skeins of Wild Wool Yarn, however, you could extend the design to make it longer with extra yarn, and by continuing the repeated rows.
This is a very easy design to produce using only Double Crochet, Treble Crochet and Crossed Trebles (uk terms), with a 5.00mm crochet hook. To get a more looser drape, test by working a gauge swatch with your 10ply yarn work up .5mm increments of hooks, to get the look desired.
The pattern is written in full clear step-by-step instructions including dual UK and US crochet terminology, together with a very handy row by row checklist guide included in the pattern.
Thank you for considering my pattern and happy crocheting.
