Wine About It Dog Toy
Knitted Pattern for Wine About It Dog Toy.
Enjoy some vino with your furry friend! Great for using up scrap/leftover yarn, this pattern only uses around 45 grams total of any worsted/aran weight you have (though acryllic may give you a more sturdy toy).
Construction:
The wine bottle is worked from the bottom up. Stitches are cast on and worked in the round making increases to reach the circumference of the bag. When the label section is reached, the piece is worked back and forth to allow for stranded or intarsia colorwork as desired. This leaves a gap in the back of the bottle that can be used to stuff it then is seamed together at the end. After the label is done, the piece is rejoined to work in the round and decreases are used to shape the remainder of the bottle.
