The Wing It Shawl includes instructions for three different shapes: a side-to-side triangular shawl construction that begins on one corner and expands along one edge into a soft point before decreasing to the other corner, a scarf that begins on one corner with a straight section in the middle and decreases to the other corner, and an asymmetrical triangular construction that begins in the left corner and expands in a right angle with increases along the wingspan edge. All three options feature a built-in i-cord edge all the way around, with slip stitch, seed stitch, and garter stitch details.

SIZE
Your Wing It Shawl is customizable to suit your taste. Most people prefer the wingspan to measure between 65-85” / 165-216 cm wide. The wider your shawl’s wingspan, the deeper the shawl will be. See the Schematic on Page 3, and sample photos on Page 4.

YARN
You can knit your shawl in any yarn weight. The yardage will vary depending on the weight of yarn, gauge, and the size of shawl you want.
