Winged Geillis is named for the character Geillis Duncan in the television series Outlander, who was accused of turning into a winged creature when on trial for witchcraft.

This is a shawlette that can be worked using just one skein of fingering weight yarn, or as much yarn as you’d like to create an accessory however big you would like.

Whilst directions are given for working on 4mm needles, this is a design that can be knit in any weight yarn if you change your needle size accordingly. Then just keep knitting on your wings until they are to a length you enjoy.
