The Winnie Maie tee is a fun knit for summer and even more fun to wear. The name is inspired by the yarn, Winnie, a delicious sportweight from Koigu that is 100% extrafine merino and so squishy soft.
Maie Landra was the original founder of Koigu was a true original and amazing creative. She recently passed while I was working on this design. I added her name as an hommage to the Koigu legacy.

Construction
This fun tee is knit top down. The yoke has a fun stitch motif that appears to be placed randomly and adds textural interest. NOte: This tee does not include short rows.

Le t-shirt Winnie Maie est un projet de tricot amusant à réaliser pour l’été, et encore plus agréable à porter. Son nom s’inspire de la laine « Winnie », une magnifique laine de type « sport » de la marque Koigu, 100 % mérinos extra-fin, d’une douceur incroyable.
Maie Landra, fondatrice de Koigu, était une personnalité unique et une créatrice extraordinaire. Elle nous a quittés récemment, alors que je travaillais sur ce modèle. J’ai ajouté son nom en hommage à l’héritage de Koigu.

Construction
Ce chandail est tricoté de haut en bas. L’empiècement présente un motif original qui semble disposé au hasard et apporte un intérêt textural. Ce patron n’a pas de rangs raccourcis.
