WHAT IS THE WINONA SCRUNCHIE?
The Winona Scrunchie is knit in the round with two different colors to achieve a window-pane design in stranded colorwork. It can be finished two ways:

  • Crocheted Finish
  • Seamed Finish

Once knit and cast off, it is turned inside out where the knitter can place their hair elastic of choice. (I recommend using a 1 or 2 thin hair elastics.) Then the scrunchie is folded over and finished with a seamed or crocheted edge.
