Winter Birch Beanie
The Winter Birch Beanie is inspired by the somber lines of snow covered birch tree forests. Hopefully, this fluffy brioche stitch beanie will keep you warm and cozy on your winter excursions.
The Winter Birch Beanie starts at the crown, working increases down to the beanie body while switching dominant colours every few rounds to create a stripy effect. The length of the beanie is easily adjustable, try on the beanie as you go to find the perfect length for you!

3.50 mm | US 4 needles: 17 sts x 26 rows = 10 cm | 4” in brioche stitch
3.75 mm | US 5 needles: 16 sts x 25 rows = 10 cm | 4” in brioche stitch
Suggested Needles:
3.50 ( 3.75, 3.50, 3.75 ) mm | US 4 ( 5, 4, 5 )
/ 40 cm | 16”circular needles for beanie body
& / 80 cm | 32” circular needles for beanie crown
Or use needle size that obtains gauge. I recommend sizing down if you are using a super-wash yarn, as super-wash yarn tends to stretch and relax more with wash and wear
