“Winter is not a season, It’s a celebration!”

Look amazing this winter in a matching hat and mitten set. Enjoy this companion poinsettia hat and mitten pattern to the existing Perfect Poinsettia Hat and Mitten Pattern in my Ravelry Store. It s a beautiful claret red on white hat that celebrates winter. It is a comfy warm hat with a folded brim to add warmth over your ears. The mittens show off the claret red with a topper of some white snow.

It is written as one-size at this time. The hat is approx 21 inches in circumference and 8.5 inches in length. This hat was knit using Aran weight yarn. If you use another weight wool (eg. worsted) please check your gauge as it will change the size of the hat. The mittens, as written are 7 inches in circumference and 9.5 inches in length. It is easy to make the mittens wider or longer.

You will need less than one skein of each colour to make both the hat and mitten in stranded knitting.
