Living on the West Coast of Canada, our family spends a lot of time on the beach…. summer or winter, rain or shine. Winter Driftwood was inspired by the interlacing driftwood found on the beach during a January storm in Tofino. Made of 100% wool, this cute, slightly pointed hat will keep your little beachcomber warm and protected from the winter winds and damp rains as you search for wild treasures.

This project is a quick knit and a great stash-buster, using approximately 50+ grams of bulky yarn/ thick aran yarn.

Great for beginners who are comfortable with or would like to try knit and purls, knitting in the round and decreasing by k2tog.
