Due to the technical difficulty of no internet, making it impossible for me to upload the new files, this pattern will remain free for an unknown lenghth of time. When my internet is fixed I will be changing this listing.

This cowl begins with a crocheted chain cast on that incorporates the crocheted chain into the design and is constructed of rib and slipped garter stitch, with the garter stitch body being worked in a combination of three colors.

The larger needle is used for the rib, and the smaller for the garter stitch. Yes, this is backwards from what we usually do when ribbing a garment, but I wanted the texture and function of rib, without the extreme pull-in that would occur if the rib was done with the same size needle as the body.

This is a working version of the pattern and is noted as a ‘free’ version on the pattern pages.

There will not be updates to this free version.

I don’t really expect major issues with the pattern as it is written, but errata will be noted on this page including links to download a hard copy.
