This is a medieval inspired cowl showcasing a lovely repeating flower lace pattern.

Knitted in the round with beading this cowl is great for a quick knit for an confident knitter and would also make a good project for someone wanting to take on lacework or beading for the first time.

The result is a glamourous beaded cowl which drapes beautifully and is light and warm. A romantic alternative to hats or scarves.

This is a one size fits all pattern suitable for fingering yarns. You will need between 400 and 490 yards of yarn. You will also need 280 beads if you opt for the beading. Instructions are given if you choose not to bead the cowl.

You will need a crochet hook for beading and US 7 (4.5mm) circular needles with a 16inch (40cm) cord. You will also need a tapestry needle and stitch markers.
