This beautiful Winter Solstice Magic blanket is perfect for the Holidays, Christmas gifts, or to snuggle under on cool fall & winter evenings. It uses the overly mosaic crochet method and features elements of nature, including mushrooms, pine branches, moon phases, snowflakes, with a mighty deer in the center!

This pattern includes the written row-by-row instructions, along with single page charts for viewing on devices and a 16-page chart to print out. The single page charts include the multi-color version, the 2-color version with the deer’s facial features, and then another 2-color version with the deer head silhouette.

Please note that the beautiful version on the main image was done by my awesome tester HK (HailKyttn) who listed her colors on her project page, and she chose to switch out the mushrooms for more snowflakes however the instructions are based on the mushroom design. I’ve included a bonus chart for her version though, for those who prefer to do that one.

When using medium weight #4 yarn and a 5mm hook, this blanket will measure approximately 48” x 55”, not including an optional border. The following colors & amounts were used:

Red Twinkle = 938 yards
Mulberry Twinkle = 745 yards
White Twinkle = 1115 yards

You can use any yarn you like, along with the recommended hook size for that yarn. Be sure that all your yarn colors are the same thickness of yarn (yarn weight).
